"We were fortunate enough to be amongst the first guests aboard Savoir Vivre. Our week on the ship couldn't have been more idyllic. The beautiful French countryside, wonderful food and charming host made this the holiday of a lifetime! The boat is truly stunning - a luxurious base for our waterway adventures. After a wonderfully warm welcome we quickly became accustomed to the leisurely pace of life on board; with delicious food, daily excursions and regular visits to the quaintest of French villages. A week just didn't seem long enough! Thank you for an incredible time aboard Savoir Vivre, I can't wait for our next trip!" A. Burilin, an English rose, UK.
Guestbook...
"Often when one finally boards a barge - after much anticipation - the reality of it is a letdown. NOT so with Savoir Vivre! This barge is EVERY BIT as beautiful as pictured. What is impossible to anticipate is the breezy and casual elegance of the public spaces and how well-designed are the cabins and bathrooms. For instance, there is plenty of storage space and the right lighting! This kind of attention to detail permeates the whole program. Ellen Sack [broker of European canal barge vacations], Chicago, Illinois, USA, Feb 2010.
"We had a truely magnificent stay aboard the Savoir Vivre. Very personable service and a unique experience all round!" Isabella and Geoffrey, Harrogate, UK.
"Thank you so much for a truely wonderful vacation! EVERYTHING about it was absolutely perfect - from the fabulously luxurious accommodation to our genuinely friendly and charming (and knowledgeable!!) hosts. What a way to travel and appreciate the beautiful French countryside. We very much look forward to returning!" S Smythe
"We had the most fabulous time aboard the Savoir Vivre!!! It was of course all wonderful, but my favorite times were the simple things like taking the bicycles to the nearest village for gorgeous french pastries and then pootling back at the end of the day to watch the sun go down with an aperitif. Life at 5mph, its the future!!! Thank you so much, we WILL be back." S Whitcher, Los Altos, CA, USA
